Admissions

​Welcome to Walsh Elementary School.  For those who wish to apply to the school we have all of the relevant admissions information captured below.  Aside from printing out and filling out the documents below, you need to submit an application online via GoCPS.
Once you receive a letter from CPS offering you a spot in our school, then you bring the filled out documents to Walsh with the offer letter.
New Students in the attendance area
Additional documents necessary to register your child (for the first time)
  • Proof of address:  at least two (2) utility bills (telephone, electric, water, gas);
  • Parent's or guardian's current driver's license or state identification card;
  • Student's birth certificate
  • Current physical exam from an Illinois physician which includes up-to-date immunizations​
